September to Celebrate

OMG! Ber months naaaa!!

A line we usually hear when September comes because for most, it is the beginning of Christmas season.

Pero bago tayo mag-give in sa Pasko feels, let’s have a party muna as we have so much to celebrate during this month.

  • Jela’s 6th month. Time flies! We’ve hit the 6-month milestone just like that. Whew! Anyway, so glad we’ve achieved the first 6-months of exclusive breastfeeding. It’s now time for solid foods! Excited, she’s been showing signs of preparedness for solids. Our first try was a challenge, though.
  • Mister’s birthday. Three decades and one. Eto yung panahon na magkaedad na naman kami ni mister. AT malapit na kami mawala sa kalendaryo hehe. Pero sabi ko nga sa kanya, di bale na, may infinity pa. Naks.
  • Anniversary. The most special for this month is none other than our anniversary. Jusko, ilang taon na nga ba? I almost lost count of how many years we’ve been together. Well, we have forever more to count. Naks!

Aside from those, happy to announced that A and I also launched our podcast Mommy Duties this month! Yessssshhh! Our podcast is intended for our fellow moms na hindi magkanda-ugaga sa gawaing bahay plus alaga ng mga bagets. We want to show the world how it’s like to be a homemaker. Yung real life na walang help from a kasambahay or an extended family member. Oha! This isn’t planned, actually. Papa Jheff invited me to guest in Coffee Na Lang Dear and then I got interested in making a podcast. So I teamed up with A for a somewhat similar to the radio show na ‘The Mother Show’ ng Magic 89.9. Nag-agree naman siya. And so we started with our own podcast show. (Thanks, Papa Jheff! Kinig kayo sa podcast niya – Coffee Na Lang Dear on Spotify, Google, and Apple Podcast). So ours is Mommy Duties with Mommy A&J. As of writing, nakaka-dalawang episodes palang kami! But we have a lot in store to share with you. Naka-line up na ang aming mga future topics! So listen to our podcast and follow niyo na din para updated kayo sa mga bagong episodes. Naks!

So ayun, there’s so much to be thankful for kaya no time to sleep and ask someone to wake me up when September ends. Naipush! Charowt!

Our anniversary will be on the end of the month. Still unsure of the plan pero meron.. ata. lels.

Thank you so much Lord for everything!
