Planning an event was never easy. What more a kiddie party. You always have to bear in mind that there will be kids kaya dapat lahat ng meron sa event mo is kid-friendly. Simula sa set-up ng venue hanggang sa program. And so, you have to choose the
right best suppliers.
In celebration of Jhia’s 3rd birthday and Jela’s Christening, naging challenge sa akin ang pagplano sa event. Merging two celebrations in one with two celebrants unlike the usual birthday and christening of the same child; limited budget, squeezing our guest list para pasok sa budget – ang hirap! Idagdag mo pa yung gusto mong merong solemnity kahit paano kasi binyag pero dapat din lively kasi birthday. Like, ano ba talaga ateng?!
Anyhow, the best part is when you have the entire team with you. Yung team na supportive at very much willing to go an extra mile and share their knowledge with you.
With no further adieu, here are our suppliers for this event:
Ramelyn’s Catering forever! From inquiries to booking to planning to the event itself, superb! Ang dali nilang ka-transaction. They’ve been patient and considerate to my every request – tanggal nito, add po nito, pa-request ng ganito, lagyan ng ganyan. Ang spoiled ko na nga ata.
I wanted a Frozen coronation day inspired theme but in pastel colors. Medyo kabado ako baka kasi mahirapan sila sa set up na gusto ko and lalo na two different occasions to be rolled into one. Paano nagawa? I’m not quite sure but when we arrived at the venue, wala akong nasabi kung hindi ‘O.M.G.!’ Na-amaze talaga ako sa set-up and pagka-lively ng venue.
Foods? As usual. Masarap ang pagkakaluto at hindi tipid ang serving. At ang staff? Mababait ang mga staff nila and ang pinakagusto ko is all-smiles sila mag-serve. Good job!
Si kuya Chris ulit yung nag-perform. He’s very entertaining, no dull moments. No foul jokes. Havey sa mga kids! At syempre, sa mga adult guests.
I was very specific with the photo booth layout. Ayoko kasi talaga ng may character like Elsa or Anna or even Hello Kitty, ganon. Kaya nung una pa lang na pinresent to samin, ay tey, ang ngiti ng lola mo lagpas mukha! Okay, OA! Pero nagandahan talaga ako, mamsh. Just as how I wanted it to be. Beri gud!
Our heartfelt gratitude to the Ramelyn’s team: Ms. Ryzza, Ms. Ralleign, kuya Gerald, Ms. Maristelle, kuya Romnick and the rest. Thank you so much. ❤
For bookings and inquiries, you may contact them through their page Ramelyn’s Catering.
B.Hive Plaza is one of our suking venue because it’s the nearest from our house and just a few meters away from the church. So coming from the baptismal ceremony, kahit nga lakarin papunta sa venue sa lapit! Affordable ang price niya for a function hall that can cater 80-100 pax. It has a secured parking with a minimal fee, malinis ang rest room at maganda yung buong place.

Souvenir for Ninongs and Ninangs
Godparents’ souvenirs were from Pamana-Abel Blankets. They make traditionally weaved hand towels and blankets that is of high quality yet very affordable. Easy transaction din to, no hassle! I ordered an extra 2 pcs with Jhia and Jela’s name on it para meron din kami. Maganda yung tela, malambot kahit nalabhan na. Perfect as christening and wedding souvenirs, or giveaways for company events.
Head on to their facebook page for more information about their products.
Jem Adriano is our suking photographer. Very professional and skillful in capturing the best moments in every event. Highly recommended! I’ve recommended him to my friends who were in need of his service and heard nothing but good reviews from them. Always thank you, kuya Jem!
Our sweet treats was from All SWEET Things by Ashery. Included in the package are Mini Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies, Oreo and Mallow Pops and No bake Blueberry Cheesecake in acrylic cups which was the crowd’s favorite, I guess kasi unang naubos daw e! I haven’t tasted the desserts until we’re home with only the cookies left and a few oreo pops. Although I was able to taste her Blueberry Cheesecake before and it was great! It tasted just right – not too sweet nor matabang. Sakto lang talaga. My sister – who is not a fan of sweets – liked it so much! My personal favorite is the Oreo pops! Kung pwede lang umorder ulit.
She also made Jhia’s cake and it looked really nice and tasted just right. Ang sarap! And take note, even the designs are edible!
Guys, you should try, too. She occasionally bakes cookies and makes blueberry cheesecakes upon order. As of writing, her best seller is the famous Choco Butternut loaf.

Crown Royale Cakes has been our cake supplier for years! Meann and Kim provides perfectly customized cakes as per client’s request. As with the taste, sakto lang din – not too sweet, hindi rin matabang. Even diabetics could eat. Their icing is my favorite! I wonder what’s their secret recipe. Hmm. They are our cake supplier for most of our occasions especially when we want it personalized. They also made Jhia’s monthly and birthday cakes.
You may check Meann’s account to see cakes they’ve created. Send her a private message for inquiries.
Squeezing the budget, I really thought of photo shooting Jhia and Jela on my own. But I am not an expert. Hindi ko kaya sila pagsabayin lalo na a baby needs to be handled by a professional. So I looked for the studio that offers the most sulit package leading me to find Pic-a-Boo Studio. The photographer’s patience in handling kids is commendable and the staff are very nice to the customers. And the photos turned out awesome!
However, Jhia’s pictures were a combined effort of me and Chay. Gusto ko talaga kasi ng outdoor phtoshoot para natural ang datingan. Medyo naging challenging lang kasi may topak ang bata. Hehe. Thankfully, maganda pa din ang kinalabasan ng mga pictures.
Thanks, Chay Chay!
Photos were taken in the newly built Valenzuela Family Park.
For the rest, I DIY-ed.
Originally, I had a supplier for the loot bag content. It was supposed to be something personalized but long story. To make it short, nag-DIY nalang kami, last minute. What each loot bag contain:
- A box of crayons bought from a local bookstore
- Coloring sheets we printed at home
- few candies and bread from the grocery
We printed Jhia and Jela’s pictures for added design on the set. And I made the chalkboard, myself.
Thank you to everyone who took part in our daughters’ event from preparation to the day itself. It was really a big help having you around. And surely, Jhia and Jela felt so much loved that day because you were all there.
You the best! What more can we say?
