To celebrate my birthday, we decided to eat at Romantic baboy. Nakiki-trend, samgyup naman for a change. Besides, parang ang mainstream ng Vikings o Yakimix o Dad’s buffet pag birthday. Although such buffet offers free birthday treats kaya most would celebrate with them.
E medyo costly ang per head naman. Hindi practical para saken lalo na’t hindi naman namin ganon mama-maximize yung mga ganyang buffet. Higit sa lahat, coding. Kaya di rin kami makalayo. Booo!
Anyway, we decided na sa Romantic Baboy nalang since there’s one in Crossroads-Tandang Sora. Malapit lang yan samin at walang dadaanang huli. Hehe. We’ve tried it once, just to experience the famous samgyupsal. P499 per head for unli meat and veggies and all, except drinks. Tapos may senior pa kami. Nagustuhan naman ni Jhia. In fact, ang dami niyang nakain non.
Para maiba, nag-RB nalang kami for dinner.
Days ahead, I was actually scouting already if they have a birthday promo. Wala akong nakita.
Upon bill out and just out of curiosity, before I handed mama’s senior citizen ID, tinanong ko ung crew kung meron silang birthday promo kasi kating kati talaga ako magtanong. Aba, meron daw! Free ang birthday celebrant certain days before and after, and on the exact date of your birthday, hindi ko lang narinig exactly kung ilan. Good that I asked! So we only paid for three. Yehey!
Ang point ko lang talaga for this post is to let you know that 1) Romantic Baboy also offers a birthday treat and 2) don’t be shy to ask if there are promos lalo na kapag birthday. Most restos offer birthday treats na talaga ngayon. You can ask if you – or one of you – are a celebrant.
By the way, their promo is that you can eat for free as long as you bring at least 3 full paying adults. And birthday promo is not to use in conjunction with other discounts like senior citizen. You can only choose which one to avail. I chose the birthday promo kasi mas malaking tipid yun kesa sa senior citizen discount. Hehe. 😉
Thank you, Romantic Baboy! ❤
