Mommy, Daddy, Jhia, welcome to the Zoo!
Barney “Let’s go to the Zoo” episode has always been my daughter’s favorite. She is surprisingly fond of seeing animals and playing with them. And so we brought her to a place where she can meet new animal friends, for real. The zoo.
Given the holiday, we headed North to the Zoobic Safari.
There are two parts of the tour: First is the walk in and second is the drive thru where in you’ll get to your next destination via a tramway.
Let’s begin? At the start of the trip, you’ll see the birds.
After walking around, it’s a good timing for the animal show. So sad we didn’t capture much pictures as we enjoyed the show ourselves. Jhia had so much fun, too, she did not stop clapping at every animal on the stage.
We had lunch after the show and then took the tramway ride for our next destination. We had a close encounter with the lions, fed the tiger, went to the Savannah and saw the crocodiles. The last part of the tour is the Croco Loco. From there was about five to ten minute walk back to the entrance which is also the end point.
It was a different experience for it was also my first time – as much as I can remember – in a zoo. I expected, though, that there were elephants but there were none. Lols.
Zoobic Safari is located in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone, about 2 to 3-hour drive away from Manila via SCTEX. Entrance rate is Php695 per adult and Php595 per child 3ft – 4ft. Children below 3ft is free. Tickets purchase on their website is 10% off. Animal show happens on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
Map instruction is not updated, though. From NLEX, we headed straight to SCTEX then exit in Subic. It is much more easier and travel time is shorter plus no traffic at all. You can use waze while in transit.
We availed our ticket in Metrodeal at Php498 per head with set Lunch. Unfortunately, the offer already ended. You can check their website for other promos, though.
